Wetsus is looking for new PhD candidate for Schauberger-Funnel-research

Topic: Pharmaceutical residues and micro-pollutants removal from water with a hyperbolic vortex plasma discharge.

This project will be following the research by Roman Klymenko, who soon will be defending his PhD thesis titled “Hyperbolic Vortex Aeration and Combined Plasma Technology for Aqueous Phase Micropollutant Degradation” at TU Eindhoven.

Using Hyperbolic Funnels, based on the Mathematics of Walter Schauberger, Roman Klymenko was already working on “Pharmaceutical residues and micro-pollutants removal from water with a hyperbolic vortex plasma discharge”.
Klymenko has shown that it works in principle and he focused his research on PFAS mineralisation. Based on his success, Wetsus, the European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology in Leeuwarden (The Netherlands) hopes to find a new PhD candidate soon that will continue this work, now with focus on mineralizing other micro pollutants.
